Sonic Tools S8 Toolbox stands above the competition with premium features like a powder-coated finish, a unique strengthening manufacturing process, and roller-bearing drawer slides. All Sonic toolboxes are stamped from one sheet of metal, then the sides are folded up and bonded to each other and the other panels. This process builds a much stronger box and incurs much less flex than others. Each of the 7 drawers have an 88-pound load capacity, while the entire Sonic S8 toolbox will support over 880-pounds and houses small and medium chemical resistant, CNC-machined foam inlays. Two locking swivel casters on one side and two stationary casters on the other are built to withstand the heavy load which help the S8 box traverse over any shop floor with ease. Finally, the S8 box includes a safety latch on each drawer to ensure a positive lock when closed, and a can holder resides on one end to house your favorite aerosols and spray bottles.

Shipping

The S8 toolbox ships on a pallet with plenty of packing around it to protect the edges. The 5-inch casters (two swiveling/locking) also come pre-installed. In less than 10 minutes you can have the shrink-wrap off all four foam tool trays, the towel bar installed, and both can holders mounted to the sides of the toolbox.

The drawers slide open easily—even when filled with heavy tools. There is a positive click when the drawers close, and the ball-bearing slides make for a smooth, confident open and shut. All drawers are 100% retractable and the included keys lock and unlock all drawers for security.

All Sonic toolboxes are wrapped in one piece of steel. This feature maximizes strength and rigidity of the toolbox while also using less material, welds, and connection points. The S8 toolbox is manufactured with high precision to ensure quality, firmness, and stability for a longer life cycle.

Powder coating

The black (RAL 9004) powered coated finish on the S8 toolbox adds a durable, tough, and stylish exterior to your toolbox.

4 rubber casters 2x swivel casters with brake and 2x fixed

The two 5-inch swivel casters lock and unlock very easily by toe, and the entire box moves easily around the shop’s concrete floor as needed.

Drawer Construction

All drawers are built from 1 piece of steel with structural ribs added for rigidity. Each drawer is affixed with ball bearing slides and are fully extendable exposing 100% of the drawer's content.

Anti-Tilt

Featuring an Anti-tilt mechanism to allow for only 1 drawer to be open at any given time, reducing the possibility of unbalanced weight and tipping. When one drawer is open, all other drawers are locked.
